LGHN Affiliate Update: Who is Unidos NorCal?

If you have not heard, California local government leaders have a new resource for leadership development, best practices sharing, and affiliation. Welcome Unidos NorCal, a chapter of the Local Government Hispanic Network (LGHN). Members of Unidos NorCal join more than 2,000 members of LGHN nationwide.

The chapter formed in January 2025. Unidos NorCal is a powerful network of changemakers in local government across Northern California. The chapter is committed to fostering professional excellence of its members through equity, leadership, and representation. The board includes eleven-members led by President, Ariana Adame, City of West Sacramento, CA and Vice President/President-Elect, Lauren Sugayan, City of Martinez, CA. Other members of the board include:

LGHN’s affiliates include ICMA, GFOA, NFBPA, NACA, I-NAPA and MMANC.

In addition, members of Unidos NorCal will also have exclusive access to local in-person events planned in northern California.

👥 Individual Members: $175/year
🏛️ Small Jurisdictions/Organizations (1-999 employees): $750/year
🏢 Large Jurisdictions/Organizations (1,000+ employees): $2,500/year

With a jurisdiction/organization membership, all employees of an organization can be a member and have access to the benefits listed above along with free unlimited job postings on LGHN’s jobs’ board.
