UCLA Data Analytics in Public Affairs

The UCLA Data Analytics in Public Affairs certificate is designed for professionals working in public policy, planning, and social services arenas who want to gain a deeper understanding of how big data and digital technologies can be used to offer or enhance public services.  Students who complete the certificate will possess the knowledge and skills needed to meet these needs.  Courses focus on ethics, learning best practices and what to avoid, data visualization, geospatial analysis, and programming.   No prior data analysis or programming experience is necessary.
